Hello!

My name is Sophie, founder and creator of Pawsome Paws Boutique, an online dog accessory brand based in the UK. My passion since as long as I can remember has been dogs. So much so that I started Pawsome Paws Boutique in 2016 by mistake, and I wanted to share with you how and why.

I started the business as a hobby in my spare bedroom. I handmade all of our starter products alongside working full time as a car sales person. I found working full time alongside caring for my new puppy Reuben extremely challenging and dreamt of being a 'stay at home dog mum'. So much so that I decided to take the matter into my own hands. I began investing every single penny that I made into developing new products and trying to build a social media following. It didn't take long before I found myself running Pawsome Paws Boutique full time and left my day job.

In the early days I handmade every single product, sewing dog accessories until the early hours of the morning and selling them at Artisan Markets at the weekends. After 2 years of working 80 hour weeks I had saved enough money in the business to have our first manufactured products sampled by factories overseas. 

Pawsome Paws Boutique is now 5 years old, running with 9 members of staff, a 3000 square foot HQ in Leeds, with over 200 wholesale customers, a following of over 260K on social media, trading at events such as Crufts, Discover Dogs and Dog Fest. All from me organically growing my little business in my spare bedroom.

I have a huge passion for the industry I am in, a big love for dogs, and I truly believe in my brand and the happiness it brings to my customers.
